She's Wired

You know your business. We know tech.

Sandy Teepen freely admits she doesn't know what a jpeg is. She doesn't have to, even though jpegs are essential tools to market her art. Fortunately, her friends at She's Wired know all about jpegs and use them to create digital photos to market her beautiful quilted fabric collages.

Sandy, a Midtown Atlanta-based artist and owner of SandiesLabel, is like a lot of people who depend on She’s Wired. She has a plan for her artwork, but has little time to master the digital gadgets that will help her get there.

“I can’t do business without a website, social media and digital photography. And frankly, I’m not interested in learning the technical skills to do it all myself.”

That’s where She’s Wired steps in.

“If I have a technical problem, She’s Wired can solve it. Their expertise saves me time and gives me the freedom to do what I do best — creating unique works of art.”

Sandy has always enjoyed sewing. After art school, she worked in the costume department of regional theaters across the country. At home, as she made clothes for her family, she accumulated a collection of fabrics. A collage class at Savannah College of Art and Design inspired her to use those fabrics to create one-of-a-kind art quilts, collages, and special projects.

She’s Wired first helped Sandy create digital photos of her quilts, photographs that are essential to placing her work in exhibitions around the country. Over the next six years of working together, the She’s Wired team has solved many technical problems, including:

  • Designing a website
  • Learning how to use social media
  • Distributing eNewsletters
  • Replacing computers and printers
  • Shooting digital photography
  • Repairing computers
  • Creating business postcards
  • Producing a Shutterfly portfolio
  • Accessing computers remotely
  • Purchasing and installing SmartTV and all-in-one remote
  • Developing a digital inventory to track products

“The encouragement and suggestions from She’s Wired have expanded my business. I appreciate their technical savvy. And most importantly, they’re fun and delightful people,” said Sandy. “We’ve created a sense of community between us.”
