2022 Gift Guide

This year’s collection includes time-savers, life-savers and a few fun-savers for good measure. So many new and improved gadgets on the market this year, we decided to put together just a grab bag of ideas. One or more is bound to appeal to you!

The Wristcam

How did we miss this? Wristcam has created an Apple Watch camera. It’s a band that allows you to take photos with your Apple Watch. You can use the Wristcam app on the watch as a viewfinder to take photos and videos or use the hardware button for a faster shoot. You can preview your photos and videos on the watch, or use Wi-Fi to download the full quality photos and HD videos to your iPhone. On Amazon. Compatible with all Series Apple Watches, including the SE, Series 8, and Ultra.

Instax Fuji camera

If retro is more your cup of tea, Fuji is offering the Polaroid experience to a new generation with its new camera for kids and creatives types. From creating vision boards to capturing and sharing candids, the company’s philosophy says in part: “… we know an INSTAX photo isn’t something you take, it’s something you give.”

Chargers, chargers and more chargers

The Iniu portable

The MagStack foldable charger has a floating stand and a 20W adapter

The Anker portable power bank

Form follows function and you are certain to find a charger this year that fits whatever functionality you seek. Small, inexpensive with generous ports? The Iniu portable charger has three ports and might be your go-to travel companion in the coming year. Ability to charge various devices? The Anker portable power bank is compatible with iPhone 13 Series, Samsung, MacBook, Dell, AirPods, and more. Or how about a three-in-one foldable iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPod charger? Here you go. The MagStack charges up to three devices simultaneously with three wireless charging spots. And a continuing favorite, The TravelCard Plus the charger that fits into a wallet.

A top-shelf PC laptop for those on the go

Dell’s XPS 13" laptop has all kinds of options and delivers on its promises. It is a premium ultraportable Windows unit with Intel 11th Gen processors. If you’re working on the go and in the market for a very light, very solid PC laptop, it’s worth checking out.

Airfly

So what do you do with your wireless headphones or earbuds when the plane or treadmill just has an old headphone jack? Just plug AirFly — a tiny wireless adapter — into the headphone jack and listen to in-flight movies or TVs at the gym. Not traveling alone? AirFly Duo lets two people listen to the same movie, podcast or music with their wireless headphones or earbuds. And AirFly Pro adds the ability to stream music from your iPhone to an AUX IN in a car or speaker.

ByteTag

If you’ve ever gone through the heart-wrenching search for a lost pet — creating MISSING posters and calling shelters and walking neighborhoods — you will be thrilled that someone thought of this. When someone scans your pet's ByteTag (using a QR code or the URL on the tag), they'll open your pet's profile. The profile, which you will create on your smartphone, will contain your contact information as well as information about your pet so the finder can get your pet home safely. No batteries are needed, there is no subscription fee and it is compatible with all smartphones.

And so much more — Check them out!
